Our Doors

We Manufacture Timber Front Doors, French Doors and Bi- Fold Doors.
With our extensive joinery knowledge, we can replicate any design.

Our Doors are crafted in our North London workshop to a factory finish, using traditional British joinery techniques, and each one comes with a guarantee.

We are Fensa registered installers, all of our doors are fitted by our specialist team, who undergo comprehensive in-house training to ensure the highest quality installation.

How They Are Made?

Combining traditional British joinery techniques with the highest quality materials, we are committed to producing the best quality Doors. We use Accoya™ timber, which is FSC certified and comes with a 50-year anti-rot guarantee. Our Doors are fully spray-painted in-house to a factory finish, receiving four layers of Teknos microporous paint.

We can colour match any Farrow & Ball, Dulux, Little Greene or RAL colour of your choice.

All Doors are fitted with draught proofing for enhanced energy efficiency and noise reduction and finished with your choice of ironmongery.

We can create bespoke Doors using a variety of glass, timber, and ironmongery options.

Timber

We use Accoya™ wood for our doors due to its exceptional durability and sustainability. This wood undergoes a non-toxic process that enhances its resistance to decay and insects, ensuring longevity and minimal maintenance. Accoya's superior dimensional stability means our doors withstand changes in humidity better, offering smooth operation throughout the year. Sourced from responsibly managed forests, Accoya is an environmentally friendly choice, aligning with our commitment to durability and sustainability. While Accoya wood is our exclusive choice for our windows, we can use a variety of other timber options if requested.

Paint

Our doors are factory spray finished, in-house to ensure the highest quality finish. This process includes four coats of Teknos microporous paint: two initial coats of a microporous base primer followed by two coats of a microporous topcoat. This specialised paint ensures durability and allows the wood to breathe, effectively minimising moisture retention thereby safeguarding against rot and decay.

We can colour match any Farrow & Ball, Dulux, Little Greene or RAL colour of your choice.

Glass

With our in-house glazing capabilities, we can customise your glazing to exact specifications, including double glazing, single glazing, Slimline/Heritage, toughened, laminated, acoustic, vacuum, frosted, and obscured glass. Special options such as stained glass can also be accommodated.

Finish

Our designs are meticulously crafted with attention to traditional detailing, ensuring that we can match glazing bars and horns to perfectly complement the original mouldings in your home.

We ensure any necessary interior plasterwork is appropriately addressed, including touch-up paint on surrounding interior walls where plasterwork has been modified (client to supply wall paint). We also point the exterior around the door using traditional sand & cement method.

Locks

All Doors are fitted with Insurance approved locks. For Front Doors we use a Dead lock and Night Latch.

For French Doors we use a multipoint lock.

We supply a full range of door furniture in various finishes. Our doors come complete with all new ironmongery.

Bespoke fittings can also be arranged upon request.

Front Doors are fitted with 1x Knocker, 1x letter plate, 1x spy hole, 1x Door Knob, 1x Dead Lock, 1x Night Latch and Door Numbers.

Draught Proofing

We provide draught-proofing for all doors upon installation. Our process includes fitting gaskets and seals for optimal draft and noise reduction.

Conservation Areas & Listed Buildings

Where necessary, our timber windows can be tailored to adhere to listed building and Section 4 Conservation Area requirements while meeting insulation and acoustic needs. In cases where double glazing installation is restricted, we offer options such as replacement single glazed timber windows or slim line and heritage double glazing, featuring a narrow profile more likely to gain planner approval. We also offer assistance in applying for planning permissions where needed.
